Between opening day regattas, majestic orca sightings, and secluded islets to explore, the Emerald City proudly boasts a maritime heritage that runs generations deep. These unforgettable experiences are all set to the scenic backdrop of evergreen forests, ocean
waves and, of course, the looming Mt. Rainier, thrusting Seattle into the spotlight as a genuinely beautiful and limitless destination.

Seattle Boat Show

The Seattle Boat Show is the essential event circled on yachting calendars across Washington, and the 2020 edition is ready to take place from January 24 to February 1. It’s here you’ll be able to browse an enormous selection of yachts, boating products, and marine accessories indoors at CenturyLink Field Event Center and Boats Afloat at the nearby South Lake Union. Lark

Where to Dine

Between the fresh seafood and widespread emphasis on all-things local, Seattle is a heavenly destination for foodies. Whether you’d rather pass time at a cutting-edge fusion restaurant or a hip microbrewery, the ever-changing dining scene is so full of life and character. Lark is one of the city’s finest restaurants with a sophisticated approach to small plates and artisanal dining. The chic establishment lies on East Seneca Street in the heart of the city with a fine selection of cheese, charcuterie, vegetables, grains, fish and meat. Offering a delicious selection of eats and a highly curated list of wines, spirits and craft beers, Bar Harbor is one of our favorites that’s conveniently located just 300 meters from South Lake Union. The restaurant takes inspiration directly from the food scene in the Atlantic Northeast with its award-winning seafood menu providing the perfect lunch break from the show.

If local seafood sounds like your type of meal, then you can do no better than . Located in the Fremont neighborhood, RockCreek centers its menu around locally and globally-sourced seafood – from crab, oysters, and mussels, to tropical fish like Kona Kampachi or Hawaiian Ono, and East Coast staples like Striped Bass.
