Additional Information

The North Pacific 28’ Pilothouse is the perfect pocket trawler; large enough to be spacious and provide comfort during extended trips, but small enough to trailer without a permit. The concept is wonderful, providing people with the ability to economically cruise Alaska in the summer, Florida in the winter and all the lakes and campgrounds in between.

Salon and Galley: In order to enter the salon from the cockpit, you go through an aluminum door with a large glass window inset and a hinged glass cover on top that adds extra light into the salon. The 6 large windows and 6’5” of headroom give the salon a feeling of spaciousness. On the port side is a 7’ long settee that converts into a pull-out bed in seconds.

Under the settee are three large drawers. A high-low table with folding leaves makes an excellent coffee table that is non-obtrusive or a good sized dinning table. The galley is complete with an under-counter 5.7 cu.ft NovaKool fridge/freezer, two burner propane cooktop and a large single sink with a drain board. There is ample counter space with fine material. Four drawers and two cabinets under the counter provide plenty of space for utensils. Forward of the counter is a cabinet that can accommodates a microwave.

Pilothouse: From the salon there are two steps up to the pilothouse. With 6’5” of headroom, nine windows and a door on each side, the raised pilothouse feels open and offers excellent visibility and access to the forward deck. The helm is located on the starboard side making docking easy on the same side and two aft windows contribute to near 360 degree visibility.

A raised dash forward of the helm comes standard with a Ritchie compass and provides a great place to install electronics. Standard gauges include the regular engine parameters plus a fuel totalizer that gives the exact fuel burn. The bench seat on the starboard side slides forward so there is no need to strain to reach the wheel and aft which makes getting out the door easier. The bench seat on the port side slides to extend so that the whole width of the pilothouse can be used for seating or for an extra bed. A curtain at the aft end of the pilothouse separates the salon and gives some extra privacy for guests sleeping in the salon.

Forward Rooms: At the forward end of the pilothouse there are 3 steps going down. Immediately on the port side is the head and on the starboard side is a hanging locker. Forward of both is the stateroom.

Head:The head is made of fiberglass and finished in white gelcoat, making it light as well as easy to clean. An opening, screened, stainless steel porthole adds to the light in the head. There are two cabinets, a sink and mirror. It is equipped with an electric flush. The NP28 has a 20 GAL holding tank with a macerator pump and a Tank Watch, holding tank gauge, in the head. The head also doubles as a shower and is drained into an electric sump box. There is also a hot/cold shower in the cockpit.

Yachting Magazine
Prestige 750

“When the Prestige 750 debuted recently, there was good reason for the fanfare. This vessel — the flagship in Prestige’s 12-model line of flybridges, coupes and yachts starting at 42 feet length overall — is truly something different in her class. And the genesis of that difference can be found on the accommodations levels. That’s right: levels, plural, on a 75-foot motoryacht.”- Kevin Koenig / Yachting Magazine
